Stock market is expected to trade higher on Monday

During the week, Sensex (BSE) declined 933.84 points or 1.83 % to finish at 49,858.24 and the Nifty50 shed 286.95 points or 1.9 % to finish at 14,744 levels.

Nifty may move higher on coming Monday towards short covering. The short term trend of Nifty50 is consolidate in coming week. Market is likely to enter a phase of outperformance of metal, IT & Banking stocks. Also momentum is likely to shift into IT, Metal, Banks, Cement and midcap as well smallcap indices.

The next lavel of Nifty50 would be 14,650 – 14,900. Any downside towards 14,500 level could be a buy opportunity for the week.
